Cairnvost Howe - Indigo runs on a combination of small grants, participant contributions, and the time and energy of people who believe that Dundee's hills should belong to everyone. There are several ways to be part of what we do, whether you want to walk with us, help run walks, donate to keep contributions at five pounds, or connect us with organisations whose people would benefit from a day in the glens. Whatever your starting point, we will find a way to make it work.
Join any of our regular Indigo Walks, Family Glens Days or Navigate & Go sessions — just sign up via the booking form and we handle everything else. The maximum contribution is five pounds and no prior experience is needed.
If you hold or are working towards a Hill and Moorland Leader award, we want to hear from you. We offer a structured mentorship pathway, regular CPD days and the chance to bring new people into landscapes you already love.
Every five pounds we raise from supporters allows one more person to join a walk at our maximum subsidised contribution rate. Businesses and community organisations can also partner with us to bring specific groups — employees, clients, young people — into the hills through a bespoke programme.
Whether you have a question about an upcoming walk, want to discuss a partnership, are looking for information about volunteering, or simply want to know whether a particular outing is right for your level of fitness, we would love to hear from you. Drop us a message using the form below or email us directly and we will get back to you within two working days. No question is too small — we would rather you asked than missed out on a walk that would have been perfect for you.
